The Extron DVI DA Plus Series of distribution amplifiers reliably distributes one DVI signal to four or eight displays. They are compatible with PC resolutions up to 1920x1200, including HDTV 1080p/60 and 2K. They feature EDID Minder®, which maintains continuous EDID communication with connected devices and ensures that the DVI source powers up properly and maintains correct video output. The distribution amplifiers ensure signal integrity by equalizing and regenerating the incoming signal. The DVI DA Plus Series is ideal for applications that require the distribution of a DVI source signal to multiple displays.

The DVI DA Plus Series offers integrator-friendly features, including input cable equalization, signal regeneration, and peripheral device powering. Automatic input cable equalization reduces the need for additional signal conditioning equipment by compensating for signal loss when using long input cable assemblies. DVI signals are retimed and regenerated to eliminate noise and reduce jitter for a strong, stable digital signal. +5 VDC, 250 mA power provided on the DVI outputs power peripheral devices such as a DVI 101 cable equalizer.

The DVI DA Plus models are housed in 1U high, rack-mountable enclosures. The DVI DA4 Plus utilizes a one-half rack width enclosure, while the DVI DA8 Plus utilizes a full rack width enclosure. Both models include an external, universal power supply for worldwide power compatibility.
