Northamber Appoints Cybersecurity Pioneer Ian Kilpatrick to Board to Accelerate Value-Add and International Growth

London, 11 September 2025 – Northamber PLC has appointed Ian Kilpatrick as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately, as the company sharpens its focus on value-added services, cybersecurity, and international expansion.
A respected entrepreneur with over 40 years of IT and channel experience, Kilpatrick was the founder of Wick Hill, one of the UK’s original value-added distributors specialising in cybersecurity. He led the company through sustained growth before its acquisition by Nuvias Group in 2015, where he helped scale operations across Europe.
Ian’s appointment comes as Northamber continues to develop its full-service, value-added distribution of AV, UC & Cyber Security. The Group offers deep support to its partners with extensive pre-sales, warranties, AVail installation support, and technical services across its AV, UC&C, and cybersecurity portfolios – a clear differentiator in a commoditised market.
Kilpatrick’s deep cyber expertise is particularly relevant as Northamber accelerates investment in its cybersecurity business through specialist business units like Renaissance and Northamber Solutions.
The company is also expanding internationally, with dedicated operations now established in Ireland (via Renaissance and Tempura Communications subsidiaries), the Belgium and the Netherlands (via Epatra) following a period of acquisitions.
